American HealthCare Capital is pleased to introduce an Urgent Care Clinic located in Northern New Jersey. The company was started by a family physician in 2010 who introduced Urgent Care services in 2012 due to high demand. In 2015, the state of New Jersey ceased granting new Urgent Care licenses and Insurance companies are not granting any more Global Urgent Care contracts. Their core services include the following: urgent care, family care, travel medicine, occupational medicine, vaccinations, preventative medicine, physical exams, fever and chills, colds, flu, viruses, sore throats and earaches, bruises (contusions), animal bites, tick bites and insect stings, immunizations and work-related injuries.
The company’s payer breakdown is 95% Private Insurance and 5% Medicare. Gross revenues for 2015 were $1.35 Million with an adjusted EBITDA of $480,000. They are currently on track to do the same or slightly better in 2016. The owner feels there are significant growth opportunities available in providing occupational medicine due to the supply of large employers in the area, as well as through the marketing of services for additional primary medical care.
The current owner is a physician who is seeking to transition towards retirement, but is available to continue working with the new owner. Non-owner medical and administrative personnel are also available to stay on.
The asking price for this opportunity is $2 Million.
