American HealthCare Capital is pleased to announce the newest Vice President on our team, John R. Nugent. John is an accomplished M&A executive and a graduate of MIT’s Sloan Management Graduate School with over 20 years of experience. Most notably, John served as the Chief Development Officer and Chief Acquisitions Officer for 13 years at Amedisys, Inc, a $1.6 Billion, publicly traded health care organization. During that time he was able to help consistently increase sales by more than 30%, negotiated and closed transactions in excess of $750 Million, and served as the company’s main point of contact for several of their national corporate partners.
Recently, John spearheaded a national Mergers & Acquisition advisory firm where he orchestrated strategic planning for private equity companies and some of the largest healthcare providers in the industry. John’s knowledge of platform formations and business development is where he shines best. He brings value with his expertise, skills, and experience to get the job done.
