Company Overview
American HealthCare Capital is pleased to exclusively present an Early Childhood & Behavioral Health Services Platform for sale in New York. This regional provider of pediatric developmental, early intervention, and related services operates across multiple counties in New York. The Company has served over 60,000 children and built a reputation for excellence over nearly three decades of operation.
Services and Payer Mix
The Company delivers center and home/community based evaluations, therapies, and support programs to a diverse pediatric population, with a robust referral pipeline from pediatricians, state health departments, and families.
Revenue is primarily derived from government-funded programs, with the majority generated through Early Intervention services and Medicaid. A smaller portion of revenue is attributable to related preschool services, with limited exposure to private insurance and self-pay. The payer mix provides a stable reimbursement profile supported by state and county programs.
Financial Overview
Gross revenue has remained stable over the past three years, ranging from approximately $8 million to $10 million annually. Based on year-to-date performance through October, full-year 2025 gross revenue is estimated to be approximately $9.5 million.
Following a period of margin compression, profitability declined due to operating overhead and balance sheet constraints. However, performance has improved materially in the past few years, with operating losses narrowing and the business trending back towards profitability.
Pending Rate Increase
The Company is currently awaiting a 5% reimbursement rate increase from New York State expected in spring 2026. The increase will be applied retroactively to October 1, 2024. In addition, New York State has approved a separate 4% rate increase for services provided to underserved and rural populations, which has taken effect in January 2026. Lastly, New York State referral software enhancements are expected to shorten intake timelines from months to days, restoring pre-2025 referral volume and topline revenue.
Exit Plan
The owner’s objective in pursuing a sale is to resolve existing debt obligations and transition the business to an operator positioned to drive performance improvements, enhanced profitability and enable acquisition.
