Jack Eskenazi founded American Healthcare Capital in 1990 and HealthCare Receivable Lenders in 2014 after ending a prosperous real estate career that spanned over twenty five years. He is a graduate of Riverside Military Academy, Ohio State University, and UCLA’s School of Business. He was a pro-bono Adjunct Professor at Cal State Northridge University, teaching from his book “Valuations of Real Estate and Business Opportunities.” Subsequently, the University bestowed an honorary degree for his civic contribution as a Civil Rights Commissioner for the State of California. Today, Jack is active in all aspects of AHC, with a vision to expand its services to other financial services and products.

Jennifer Le joined American HealthCare Capital in 2009. She has a B.S. degree from the University of California, Irvine. As Managing Vice President, Jennifer oversees all staff and operations. She is also involved in sales and marketing of all listings. During her tenure at AHC, she has gained an expertise in valuation of all types of healthcare businesses, large and small. She has represented both buyers and sellers in hundreds of transactions.

Shelby Cottey has an extensive background in the administrative field and office management. She started her career at American HealthCare Capital on the administrative team and quickly proved to be a valuable asset to the company. Mike Moran, our Executive Vice President, comes from the world of niche investment companies, in which he gained M&A experience in hospitality, software, and real estate. He has a B.S. in Finance and Psychology from Syracuse University. Mike has been a key team member since 2015 and has closed transactions in a variety of segments which include Behavioral Health, IDD, Home Health, Home Care, Medical Staffing, LTC Pharmacy, Dentistry, and Long-Term Care (ALF + SNF). He remains one of our top producing M&A advisors and attributes his success to working relentlessly for his clients and meticulously managing the deal process. Since joining AHC, Mike has closed over $100,000,000 of total transactional value.

Andre Ulloa

Andre Ulloa specializes in Pharmacy and Home Health/Hospice. He also works in Urgent Care/Clinics and Dermatology. He graduated with a B.A. degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and is bilingual in English and Spanish. Along with sell-side and buy-side representation, Andre can assist clients with debt financing. Prior to joining American HealthCare Capital, he was a Principal at an investment bank. As an agent of a registered broker-dealer, he was helping lower middle market clients with financial transactions including capital raises, debt restructurings, and sell-side and buy-side acquisition projects.

After four banner years of growth while serving as AHC’s VP & General Manager, Stephanie Carton was promoted to VP of Corporate Finance & Business Development in 2019. She fully operates AHC Banking, a subsidiary of American HealthCare Capital, where she oversees the integration of loan proceeds towards mergers, acquisitions, and cash flow. She and her team preserve transparency to maintain total clarity for her clients, minimizing any possible risks for oversights. Stephanie has a diverse background in finance, marketing consulting, and business management. Having been educated both abroad and in the United States, she has an extensive perspective in dealing with a variety of businesses. She is fluent in French and Spanish, serving as AHC’s bridge between our international buyers and sellers.

Michael Bass, MBA, CPA has over 25 years of Mergers & Acquisitions experience in healthcare. He was an officer for a national public Orthotic & Prosthetic company that acquired many facilities. Following the sale of this company to a larger public national O&P company, Michael represented O&P companies in sales, and also developed strong experience representing Outpatient Rehabilitation and other types of Therapy Services companies. He has a strong network of national and regional corporate buyers in O&P and Physical Therapy, as well as Private Equity Groups focusing on healthcare services.

Prior to joining America HealthCare Capital, David provided consultation services to Pharmacy businesses to minimize their regulatory and compliance risks, and he most recently served as Chief Compliance Officer at Diamondback Drugs, which is a large veterinary compounding Pharmacy based in Arizona.

Brendan Sharkey comes from a family of healthcare providers. Outside of the office, Brendan likes spending time with family, finding new hikes and taking advantage of the abundant outdoor activities of Southern California. He dedicates time every month to a non-profit that helps underprivileged kids learn how to code.

Steven Eschbach is a senior-level financial executive with practical expertise in enhancing corporate value that includes mergers/acquisitions with complex structured deals, investor relations, corporate communications and client relationship management. He has represented both the sellers and buyers in dozens of business transactions over 30 years. As a subject matter expert in corporate valuation, business development and relationship management, Mr. Eschbach is an often-requested public speaker and a published author. Mr. Eschbach holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Connecticut and a masters of business administration degree in investment finance from the University of Hartford. He has been a Chartered Financial Analyst since 1989, and is an Illinois licensed producer in life/health insurance as well real estate.

Mark Krowiak brings years of corporate experience, having provided executive-level leadership throughout a broad scope of business environments. In 2012, Mark exited the corporate environment to leverage his extensive experience into entrepreneurial pursuits, founding Columbia North Business Network – a business brokerage, primarily focused on business intermediary services, also offering consulting and optimization services. Mark has an MS in Industrial Systems Science Engineering, with undergrad degrees in Business and Industrial Engineering. He is joining the AHC team as a valuable M&A advisor and consultant.

Max Beck has held senior business development roles for companies including PwC and Tetra Tech in the US where he ran bespoke investment conferences for equity funds based in the Americas and Europe. Prior to 2008, Max started and grew his own company to a turnover of $1m per annum providing an M&A advisory service for companies looking to acquire specific businesses including healthcare. During that time, Max was nominated for two national entrepreneurial awards. Since 2008, Max has been working in the M&A space as a contract deal generator for investment funds and more recently for Transworld Business Advisors. Max is now wholly focused on the healthcare sector generating purchase opportunities within North America.

Richard Moreno has joined American HealthCare Capital as a Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions with more than 20 years of experience in the industry. His focus is on the integration of auxiliary provider services for national “For Profit” and “Not For Profit” healthcare systems. Rich previously worked at AHC and retired to devote his time to community services, including being the Founder and Chairman of Founders Academy of Las Vegas. His seven years as Chairman resulted in the school becoming debt free and the opening of their new facility for 750 students, Kindergarten through grade 12, upon his retirement from the school in August 2018. Mr. Moreno and his wife Linda Moreno, a retired RN & healthcare consultant, are excited to tackle the M&A world, providing M&A and Financial Advisory services to the healthcare community at large.
